microworks received first order for x-ray-gratings
Using LIGA technology developed at KIT / IMT, microworks will fabricate intensity gratings for lyncean technologies, Inc. to conduct phase-contrast tomography experiments. The California-based company will establish an x-ray imaging system called "Comprehensive High Resolution Imaging System (CHRIS)" at its compact light source (CLS), which delivers x-rays of synchrotron quality from a room-sized machine.
